For those that can work remotely – which is mainly office workers, like me – anywhere safe with a broadband connection can be our nerve centre. We're powered by Zoom, everything is in the cloud, and there’s a broad acceptance nowadays that flexibility is good.
It’s been a week to remember. First, as part of our transition to a new hybrid working model, we reopened Battenhall’s London HQ and inducted a year’s worth of new team members. Then, on Thursday, some amazing news came in to round off an unprecedented year for our company – PRmoment named us Independent Consultancy of the Year.

Last November, Instagram announced its latest feature, Guides, which enables users to share curated, scrollable content. The feature has been gradually gaining traction ever since, with corporate and consumer brands finding creative ways to use it to broaden their current social offering.

While Battenhall has been practising remote and flexible working since we started in 2013, and now operates a total flexible working model, the recent widescale shift got me reflecting on what aspects of PR agency life have changed so much in the past 12 months.
