Last night the megastar inventor and entrepreneur Elon Musk, founder of Tesla, SpaceX and co-founder of PayPal, took to Reddit to run an AMA - the open Q&A that is increasingly being used by company spokespeople as an essential part of the PR toolkit. Today SpaceX is launching Falcon9 at Cape Canaveral, which is why Elon said he was doing his Reddit AMA.

Reddit launches AMA app

Ask Me Anything is the must-have tool in the box for the modern PR practitioner. Your spokesperson for any launch should always do an AMA on Reddit without fail, so what better an app for Reddit to have launched than the AMA companion app.

Stand-alone and spin-off apps are coming at us left right and centre at the moment.
