Happy 3rd Birthday Battenhall

Today our business turns three years old! Today we're a big, busy, bustling business full of creative minds, innovators and award winners, but three years ago today, Battenhall launched in a big empty office in East London, with only a tiny bit of client work to get us started, and only one person (me!). However we had big plans - to become the next great agency. Here is what I wrote about our founding mission back then. It was a scary and exciting time. But there was a gap in the market for a digital innovation-led communications agency, and the rest is history.

Battenhall named finalist for two ‘best agency’ PR Week Awards

News came out this morning that the 2015 PR Week Awards finalists have been announced, and we're over the moon to be shortlisted for two awards! We're finalists for Specialist Consultancy of the Year and also for Small Consultancy of the Year.

There are many specialisms in PR, and we can see we're up against the top brands from healthcare, technology, food & drink and startups. Our specialism is social media, so we'll be flying the flag for the internet on October 20th when the winners are announced! And we're a very young agency, so up against some pretty big and established brands in the Small Consultancy category too. Here's wishing the best of luck to the other finalists in both categories Dynamo, John Doe, Man Bites Dog, Manifest, Harvard, Virgo Health and William Murray!

Battenhall wins best social media agency in the UK

Last night we scooped the award for Best Social Media Agency in the UK at the PR Moment Awards. And we're over the moon about it as you can imagine! 650 guests were packed into The Brewery in London for the coveted awards bash and, while the odds were stacked against us - we were up against well-established, global agencies - we couldn't be happier than to come away with this award for Battenhall as an agency.

For a brand new agency like us, not yet even two years old, to win the #1 spot last night, makes me beyond proud of the team here, their talent, passion for their work, drive and innovation.

A huge thank you to all our clients and friends of Battenhall for your support. It means so much to us.

Battenhall shortlisted for Best Small Agency at the PR Moment Awards

After a storming end to 2014, picking up Best Small Agency from the UK Social Media Awards, Finalist for Best New Agency at PR Week, and Agency of the Future from the PRCA, we've just heard the news that we've been shortlisted for Best Small Agency at the PR Moment Awards.

This one will be tough - the small agency category goes up to 5x the size of little old us, we're still only 1 year old and the shortlist is filled with a star-studded cast. So best of British to all those on the list and see you at the ceremony on March 4th!
